British National & Open Championships 3 - 8 August 2024
The IOCA UK British & Open Championships are being held at Plas Heli, the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre, Pwllheli, North Wales on the 3 - 8 August 2024. Pwllhelii and the waters of Tremadog Bay are widely regarded as being one of the best dinghy sailing venues in the UK. The event will open on Saturday 3 August with Registration in the afternoon and racing on Sunday 4th through to Thursday 8th August. There will be a sailors' party on the Thursday evening, with Friday being the departure day.
Three fleets for the Nationals 2024
For the Nats 24 there will be a Main Fleet Senior and Junior, a Racing Regatta Fleet and a Coached Regatta Fleet (find more information on which fleet is right for you here.
GBR Sailors entry
GBR sailors must be current IOCA UK member for 2024. Join the class or renew membership before making an online entry.
International Sailor entry
International sailors must be a current member of a National Optimist organisation. When entering please select 'International' entry.
