Spring Championships 18 - 19 March 2023
The first event of the IOCA sailing programme for 2023 is the Spring Championships. The Springs 23 will be held at Rutland Sailing Club on 18 - 19 March 2023. IOCA has held championships and training event many times at RSC and it will be great to be making a return visit.
Rutland Sailing Club
RSC is located on the shores of Rutland Water which is 3000 acres of water. The RSC website has lots of information that will be useful for your visit. The RSC office is open Thursday to Monday on 01780 720292.
Arrival Information
There is a barier at the entrance operated by an access code. On entering the RSC site, turn left and park on the gravel. Only motorhomes booked with RSC are permitted to be parked on the RSC site.

Volunteer for the event
Volunteers are required ashore and afloat on Saturday and Sunday. No experience is required for most of the roles.
Safety Fleet
To volunteer to drive or crew a RIB, either as part of the safety fleet, or as a mark layer or measurer, please complete this google form. If you are able to help on the water, please also join the safety fleet WhatsApp group.

Bunkroom accommodation at RSC
There are 9 rooms with bunk beds, 4 to 6 beds per room within the club building. Booking for the RSC rooms is made online on the RSC website.
Campervan pitches at RSC
New for this year, RSC has five campervan pitches on the club site. Booking an RSC campervan pitch is made online on the RSC website.
Rutland Water Campsite - CAMPSITE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND - 14 March 23
Rutland Water Campsite is located opposite Rutland Sailing Club. Booking are made directly with Rutland Water Campsite by email rutlandwatercampsite@outlook.com or phone 07989 585723. Campers will use the RSC toilet, shower facilities because there are no toilet, shower facilities on the campsite. The campsite is a grass field and if there is a lot of rain preceding the Springs 23 then the campsite will be closed.
Catering at RSC
There will be catering in the club galley during the weekend. There will be a Pub Grub style menu available on Saturday night. Booking for Saturday night Pub Grub are made through the RSC webpage you will have to create an account.
Early Arrival on Friday
If you are planning to arrive early on Friday to go sailing you must check in at the RSC reception before going sailing.The sailor launch fee is £10 per sailor.
Late Arrival on Friday night
It will be possible to access the RSC site on Friday night to drop off road trailers. There is a barrier at the entrance and a code will be sent out in a Springs 23 Update in the week before the event.
