Barnt Green

From the M5, take junction 4 to follow the A38 south to Bromsgrove. After 100 yards, turn left into Lydiate Ash Road. Turn left and then immediately right into Alvechruch Highway. Follow this narrow and windy road to a T junction and turn left. Follow this over the Lickey Hills to a roundabout (with a pub) and turn right into Barnt Green Road. Bewl Valley

From the north, take junction 5 of the M25 turning south onto the A21. Leave Tonbridge to port and Royal Tonbridge Wells to starboard. One mile after the Village of Lamberhurst, turn right at a brown sign showing a picture of a boat, to Bewl Water. Map 188 ref683347

Blithfield Sailing Club

From junction 11 of the M6, take the A460 to Cannock. Go straight over 3 roundabouts and take the A460 to Rugeley. At the A51 roundabout, cross straight over onto the B5013. Pass thought Admaston and cross the resevoir. Turn right at the T junction to Abbots Bromley, then right in the village onto the B5014. One mile south of he village look for a sign to the club on the left marking the right turn by a group of cottages to the club. Look for a gateway marked South Staffordshire Water Company. Turn in here, drive past the water board offices and take a sharp bnd to the right into the club. Map 128 Ref 072 233

Bolton Sailing Club

From the South or East, exit on junction 3 of the M61, taking the A666 north through the center of Bolton. In North Bolton, turn left at the ASDA store onto the A675 to Preston. After passing through Belmont, turn right to Bolton SC. From the north, take juncion 1 of the M65 and turn south to Bolton. The club is 5 to 6 miles down the road on the left. If you get to Belmont, you've gone too far. Map 109 Ref 673 166.

British Steel Sailing Club, Eglwys Nunydd Reservoir, Heol Caer Bont, Margam. Port Talbot is nearby and has a postcode SA13 2NT. Grid Reference 279720, 185000. M4 Junction 38 is the best way to find it.

Cam Sailing Club

Cam sailing club is about 5 miles north and slightly east of the centre of Cambridge. Its at Clayhithe, just outside Waterbeach on the road to Horningsea. From the A14, turn left onto the A10 at Milton. Turn right into Waterbeach and follow the road through the village and across the level crossing. At the point at which the road bends sharply to the right, turn left into a short track that leads to CSC entrance.
Chichester Directions: From the A27 south of Chichester take the A286 signposted The Witterings and Birdham. Proceed for approximately 2 and one half miles until you reach a sign on you right indicating Chichester Marina. This leads you along the bank of the canal (to your left) until you reach the club itself at the far end.

Datchet Water Sailing Club is approximately 1 mile from junction 5 on the M4. Junction 5 is the 1st junction west from the M25 / M4 junction. Come off the M4 at junction 5 and head for Colnebrook. At the entrance to Colnebrook there is a BP garage on the right. Follow the main road (sharp right hand bend) towards Horton. Shortly after leaving Colnebrook (BP garage) the club entrance is approximately 300 meters on the right. Map ref: TQ 015770 map 176

Draycote

From the M40. take junction 12 and follow the B4451 east to Southam. At Southam, follow the ring road and turn right at the fourth island to the A426. Follow the signs for Draycote water.

Grafham Water Sailing Club

From Midlands on A14. 0.6 miles after junction to Woolley (and about 2.2 miles before A1) At Ellington turn off following signs for "Ellington" and "Grafham Water" At roundabout at top of slip road, turn right over the A14. After 100 metres at T junction, turn left to "Ellington" and "Grafham Water". After 150 metres turn right to "Ellington" and "Grafham Water". Drive through Ellington village centre, and turn left after 0.2 miles to "Grafham" and"Perry". After 1.8 miles, in Grafham, Stay on main road and bear left to "Grafham Water". Pass the Exhibition Centre 0.8 miles after Grafham, then reach T junction 0.6 miles after Exhibition Centre. At T junction Turn right onto B66 1 to "Great Staughton, Kimbolton, Perry and Grafham Water". After 2.0 miles, in Perry village Turn right opposite the Wheatsheaf pub to "Grafham Water Centre" and "Sailing Club". At end of straight, Sailing Club is through green gates ahead of you! (Alternatively, slightly further but probably easier - continue on A14 to A1; turn south on A1 towards London; at first roundabout, about 3 miles ("Buckden"), turn right on B661 towards "Grafl~am Water"; at first T junction, carry straight on, on main road. In 2.0 miles, in Perry village, see above.)

Gresford Sailing Club

Gresford Sailing Club is between Wrexham and Gresford. From Chester, take the A483 towards Wrexham. Take the first Wrexham exit also signposted to Nantwich. At this junction, take the second exit off the roundabout onto the A5156 signposted A534 to Nantwich and Wrexham industrial estate. After 200m take the left turn signposted to 'The Flash'. Take the second on the right (about 500m) into a narrow farm lane. The club is at the end. Map ref: 345 536 Map 117

From the A14, take the A605 to Peterborough / Northampton. Take the 2nd exit to Peterborough. After 50 yds, turn left at the first island towards Thrapston. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights. After 200yds, turn right down the track between the doctors surgery and the football pitch. Follow the track across the causeway to the club.
Mountbatten Centre

Mudeford SC Approaching from Winchester on the A31, just after Ringwood take the A338 towards Bournemouth & then after approx 3 miles take the B3073 turn off to Christchurch and follow this road all the way into Christchurch. When you reach the town take the A35 towards Southampton. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Purewell & Mudeford . At the next roundabout go straight on (2nd exit) to Mudeford & then turn right after 1/2 mile at the Fish & Chip shop into Argyle Rd . Go to the end of the road.

Approaching from Southampton & Lyndhurst on the A35 go through the New Forest & approx 2 miles after the Cat & Fiddle Pub go straight over the two roundabouts towards Purewell on the B3059 . After a further 1 mile turn left at the next roundabout to Mudeford. Then turn right at the Fish & Chip shop as above.

Mumbles

Mumbles Yacht Club is situated on the south west tip of Swansea Bay. From the east, leave the M4 at junction 42 turning left onto the A483. Follow this until the crossroads with the A4067 where you turn left and continue along this road as its continuation along the B4433 to Mumbles head.
Newhaven and Seaford SC

Ogstone

From junction 28 of the M1, take the A38 towards Derby. After 2-3 miles take the A61 signposted to Chesterfield. Pass through Alfreton and Shireland. Take the left turn signposted to Matlock approximately 1 mile from Shireland and between the 'White Bear' and 'Three Fishes' pubs both on the left of the road. After 1/2 mile, take the left fork to Matlock. Go up the hill and down the other side and you will see the resevoir on your left. After passing the resevoir, take the first left. The club entrance is 600 yds up on the left.

Olton Mere

From the M42, take junction 5 and follow the A41 west to Solihull. At the end of seven Star Road, turn right at traffic lights north up the Warwick Road. Just after a railway bridge and opposite a garage, turn left into what looks like a new housing estate called Olton Mere and you will see the club entrance.
Papercourt

Papercourt is near Guildford, and is close to the junction of the A3 and M25.

Coming from this junction, leave the M25 and travel west on the A3 for just less than a mile.  Take the exit marked Ockham and Ripley.  At the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road, pass under the A3 and take the second exit signed Ripley.  In less than 1/2 mile you will be in the middle of Ripley.  Look out for a road to the right, Newark Lane, signed Pyrford.  It's a narrow entrance, with two bollards to negotiate.  In 1/4 mile there will be a field to the right.  On your left you are now passing the top of Papercourt lake.  Just before the road swings to the right, take the next left turn (Polesden Lane if you can see a sign) and follow this lane as far as the entrance to the club.

If you are coming along the A3 from Guildford, you have to get off the A3 before Ripley, following signs to Ripley.  ( If you miss the turning, go as far as the M25 and come back along the A3 from the other direction.  Then follow the directions above.)  After 1/3 mile, go straight over the roundabout.  After a similar distance again, take Send Marsh Lane to the left, pass the pub on the right and take the right fork at the village green.  Keep right at the next fork and the entrance to Papercourt SC is on the right.

Follow signs for the ferry terminal, get in the Guernsey/Jersey lane at the terminal not Cherbourg. Go to end of the road and the club is jjust past the ferry terminal.

Port Dinorwic

From England, take the A55 to Bangor. Follow signs for Caenarfon A487. PDSC is in y Felinheli (the Welsh equivalent of Port DinorWic). Turn right at the first roundabout after joining the A487 from the A55 following the sign to Felinheli. At the village, turn right at the post office/Londis general store down Snowdon St onto Beach Road. From South Wales via Welshpool, take the A470/A487 to Caenarfon. At Plas Menai roundabout, take the second exit signpostes to y Felinheli. In the village, tke the first turning on the left down the hill to Beach Road. Map ref: SH 522 673

Follow sings to Mylor Yacht Harbour off the Truro to Falmouth road. It is thorough Mylor bridge and on to the harbour and a short walk along the beach.

Royal Lymington

Royal Harwich Yacht Club

RHYC is situated at Woolverstone on the B1456 between Shotley and Ipswich. From the west, leave the A14 turning left to follow the signs to Ipswich Docks on the A137. At the next roundabout, turn right onto the B1456 to Shotley, taking the second exit and leaving the Oyster Reach Motel to starboard. Follow the B1456 through Woolverstone. After the village there is a low level sign "MARINA" on the right pointing to the private road on th left that goes to the Marina and the Club. The car park is on the right before the clubhouse and before the sharp right turn in the road.

Rutland SC

Arom the A14, take the A43 to Corby. At the next roundabout, take the A6003 to pass through Rockingham and Uppingham. After uppingham, the road takes a couple of bends and then you are presented with a 2 mile straight road which goes down and then up a hill. Taking care not to excite the interest of the police car often parked at the top of the hill facing you, turn right at the top of the hill to Matlock following the signs to Rutland Water. Take the left turn at Edith Weston signposted to the sailing club and then the left turn to the club entrance on the right.

Spinnaker

Turn north off of the A31 at Ringwood onto the A338 towards Salisbury, 1 mile north turn right into Ivy Lane, signpost to Blashford. The club is 1/2 mile on right just past the waterskiing club on the left.

Swarkstone Sailing Club

Swarkestone is a few miles south of Derby - the easiest way is from the junction of the A50 and the A514 (there is a road house called the "Bonnie Prince" next to the roundabout).  Take the A514 away from Derby.  After about ½ mile you come into Swarkestone village and pass a pub called the "Crewe and Harpur Arms".  Then go over a steep hump back bridge and immediately turn right (sign posted to Ingleby and Foremark) before crossing the Swarkestone bridge ancient monument.  After about 100 metres, turn left (you will see the Swarkestone Sailing Club sign), go through a gate, and follow the road round the edge of the lake until you get to the club house. http://www.oppy-club.co.uk/Map%20Graphic.htm 

Tamworth Sailing Club

From the M42, take the Kingsbury exit at junction 9 (A4097). Take the first exit at the first roundabout to Kingsbury water park and follow the road to the waterpark main gate.

Trimpley Sailing Club

Exit junction 4 of M5 to follow the A491 and then A456 to Kidderminster. Alternatively, leave the M5 at junction 3 and follow the A456 to Kidderminster. At Kidderminster, follow the ring road taking the signs for Bewdley. In Kidderminster, pass St. Mary's Church on the right. At the bottom of the hill, cross the traffic lights and go up the hill. Turn right at the first island and left at the second. Turn right at the 3rd turn, by the police station into Habberly Road. After 1 mile, cross over an island. After 2 miles approx, turn right at a T junction. After 1/2 mile turn left just past a phone box. Drive down the hill, through a gate entrance, turn right over a railway bridge and follow the lane round to the left to the clubhouse.

Warsash

Leave at junction 9 of M27. Turn right along A27 westbound towards Southampton. Turn left at a large ESSO garage with a large fir tree into Brook Lane, signpost Warsash. Right branch at first roundabout. Turn right a a small roundabout with garages on either side and a clock tower. Pass a row of shops to arrive at waterfront. The main clubhouse (Shore House) is on your left. The dinghy clubhouse is along the seafront next to The Yachting School. There are 2 car parks .

Weir Wood

Weirwood lies due south of East Grinstead. From the A22, turn west at the 'Swann Inn' at Forest Row. Weir Wood is 1/4 mile from this    junction on the right.

Weston Sailing Club

Leave the M27 at junction 8 and turn towards Southampton. At the first roundabout by Tesco's take the second exit on B3397 to Hamble. Go straight over 2 roundabouts. Shortly after the second, turn right onto the A3025 towards Woolston. Take 2nd left at a cross roads. Go straight over the next crossroads. Cross the railway. At the T junction on the waterfront, turn right. Pass Netley Abbey on right. Weston sailing club is a short distance further on on the left.

Wraysbury Lake

From the South/South East/North: Leave M25 at Junction 13; Take first exit on roundabout (B376 to Wraysbury), Right at mini roundabout; 1.25 miles to Wraysbury Village; Left into Windsor Road (B376 to Datchet); right bend into Welley Road. The entrance to the club is a green gate on the right hand side of Welley road just next to the 40mph sign to the north of the village (after the Q8 garage).

From the West: Leave M4 at Junction 5; Take Last Exit on Roundabout (Honda HQ building on Left, B470 to Datchet – Majors Farm Road ); After 800m turn left; Further 500m turn left into Horton Road (B376 to Wraysbury); Right at next mini-Roundabout (Welley Road); Over Railway Bridge (Traffic Light controlled); The entrance to the club is a green gate on the left hand side of Welley road at the end of the grass verge.
